Will Hodges, President of Cadence McShane Construction Company, is pleased to announce that the firm has completed the comprehensive renovation and new construction assignments at Brinker Elementary School and J.M. Daffron Elementary School on behalf of Plano Independent School District (Plano ISD).
Brinker Elementary School, located at 3800 Clark Parkway in Plano, Texas, was updated and modernized with 67,676 square feet of renovations throughout the school facility and 21,048 square feet of new construction. The school features new classrooms and larger administration areas as well as numerous renovated areas including the library, kitchen, cafeteria and gymnasium.
Also in Plano at 3900 Preston Meadow Drive, J.M. Daffron Elementary School was enhanced with 67,676 square feet of renovation updates and the new addition of 17,000 square feet of space. The assignment included the reconstruction of its main entryway that included a larger entrance canopy and an expanded administrative area. Greater flexibility and efficiency for the students and faculty is supported through the incorporation of larger classrooms and contemporary updates to the kitchen, cafeteria, library and gymnasium.
Cadence McShane also completed the exterior improvements including façade upgrades, and the expansion of walkways, landscaping and parking to support the new additions at both the Brinker and Daffron Elementary Schools.
The new construction and renovation assignments at Brinker and Daffron were completed in advance of the 2014 school year. While under construction, the two elementary schools remained in operation skillfully facilitated by the comprehensive safety procedures implemented by the professionals at Cadence McShane.
