The Dallas County Commissioners Court selected Cadence McShane Construction for the 118,000 square foot renovation and expansion of the existing Henry Wade Juvenile Justice Center in Dallas, Texas.
The assignment doubled juvenile inmate capacity and provided expanded areas for additional training and support services. Cadence McShane constructed a new three-story housing and support complex. A new addition to the training/visitation area within the Courts and Services Building expanded visitation areas, renovated office space and added conference facilities to the building. Linking corridors that connect the new structures to the existing buildings were also constructed.
