Cadence McShane Construction Company has successfully completed the construction of a new VMF Warehouse for Crowley Independent School District.
Located on a 375,000-square-foot site at 10400 North Crowley Road in Crowley, Texas, the ground-up, pre-engineered metal building features a total of 71,612 square feet. The building will serve as the district’s main warehouse for maintenance and services, including the technology department, maintenance, and security.
The warehouse incorporates 19,570 square feet of office space together with a network operation center that houses the district’s servers, wood, metal, and paint shops, and storage areas for kitchen, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tools. To conserve energy, the building incorporates sustainable features including sensor-controlled lighting and a Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) air conditioning system.
The property also features two new fuel stations that hold over 30,000 gallons of fuel above ground, a wash station for fleet trucks, a loading dock, and a 13,000-square-foot addition to the parking lot with 166 parking spaces.
Cadence McShane also performed a 3,000-square-foot addition to the existing grounds building and installed a new 1,500-square-foot walk-in cooler and freezer in the existing warehouse.
“We’re very excited to have delivered this facility to Crowley Independent School District,” shared Will Hodges, President of Cadence McShane. “The building is a great multi-use space that will serve the district for years to come.”
