Founder & Chairman
Jim McShane is the Founder & Chairman of Cadence McShane Construction Company. He established the firm in 1996, upon the acquisition of The Cadence Group, a general contractor with offices in Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio. Under his leadership, Cadence McShane has earned a prestigious reputation as a premier provider of construction management, design-build and general construction services on a local, regional and national basis.

Molly McShane
Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer, Molly manages the overall operations and resources of The McShane Companies. She focuses on creating, planning, implementing and integrating its strategic direction to achieve operational excellence.

Dan McShane, Esq.
Chief Strategy Officer & General Counsel
Dan serves as Chief Strategy Officer & General Counsel for The McShane Companies. In his role, he coordinates strategic planning and risk management strategies while overseeing the company’s legal matters on a national basis and provides in-house legal advice to the firm, offering guidance in the strategic decision-making process.

Will Hodges has been in the construction industry since 1989 and assumed the role of President in 2012, charged with the overall leadership of operations. He is focused on the strategic growth of the firm while maintaining a commitment to its customers and employees which has been a hallmark of Cadence McShane.

Srinath Pai Kasturi, LEED AP
Executive Vice President
Offices: Central Texas - Austin, Central Texas - San Antonio
Srinath Pai Kasturi provides executive leadership, operational management, and extensive sales expertise. He oversees the Central Texas division of the firm and works directly with the firm’s executives at each of the offices to expand the organization’s presence in major markets. Srinath is involved in both short- and long-term planning for the firm, participating and contributing to the overall direction and growth of operations.

Craig Morris is responsible for creating conceptual cost estimates, developing preliminary designs with architectural and other design disciplines, subcontract negotiations and contract awards, project accounting, and implementing the Cadence McShane Quality Assurance Program and Safety Program on each project.

Colby Rose is responsible for the management of the firm’s project personnel and support teams, the development and expansion of new business opportunities, and the strategic planning and execution of the firm’s growth within its key market sectors for the Houston region. Colby’s wide range of professional experiences include construction assignments within the warehouse/distribution, food processing, office, multifamily, healthcare and education market sectors.

Stephanie Fox oversees the financial management and construction accounting functions for the firm, as well as directing the firm’s relationships with outside financial entities. She supervises a professional staff of accounting associates dedicated to processing the complex financial transactions that occur throughout the construction process. Additionally, Stephanie works with the firm’s management team to lead, plan and direct the course of the company’s business strategies.
Key Leadership

John Schmidt is responsible for the leadership of the firm’s comprehensive safety program. He ensures that safe and productive working conditions are maintained at each Cadence McShane job site by conducting regular site visits to oversee procedures and serves as the point person for each project superintendent.

As Vice President of Operations for Cadence McShane Construction, Kevin manages the Dallas business unit operations by providing general oversight and guidance to the project management teams. He also serves as a mentor and technical resource to all operations staff and provides leadership through project concerns or risks.

Brad Westbrook leads the preconstruction staff, mentors team members and provides insight from his many years of experience in various market sectors. He delivers executive oversight of estimating, preliminary budgeting and bidding processes, prequalification of subcontractors as well as value engineering and project buyout.

David Tague provides growth and leadership for Cadence McShane’s expanding housing market sector focused on broadening the firm’s construction opportunities within the multifamily, senior living and student housing markets. David oversees the firm’s on-going multifamily and senior living residential projects and is responsible for seeking opportunities for the development of new construction throughout Texas and the south central region.

Jody Lee is responsible for the execution of Cadence McShane’s overall marketing strategy. He develops and sustains a consistent brand identity throughout every facet of the firm. Additionally, Jody works with the firm’s management team to lead, plan, and direct the course of marketing strategies.

Surbhi Usrey, LEED AP
Director of Preconstruction and Estimating

As Director of Preconstruction and Estimating for Cadence McShane Construction, Surbhi provides leadership and direction for comprehensive preconstruction requirements for numerous projects in the Central Texas Office.

As Director of Education for Cadence McShane Construction, Wade supports growth and leadership for the firm's market expansion within the K-12 and Higher Education sector. Wade assists in the pursuit and implementation of K-12 and Higher Education projects on a regional and statewide basis. Wade’s understanding of the education market and seasoned construction experience allow him to identify, cultivate, and execute new opportunities that advances Cadence McShane’s project portfolio in the educational arena.
Business Development

As Director of Business Development for Cadence McShane Construction, Don develops and acquires new business opportunities in the Central Texas region. Don has extensive experience in procuring construction projects in multiple market sectors, including education, commercial, industrial, multifamily and senior housing.

As Director of Client Relations for Cadence McShane Construction, Rebecca Mansfield develops new business opportunities within the commercial, industrial, and senior living market sectors for Cadence McShane's Houston region. Rebecca has been in the construction industry since 2003 and provides significant insight regarding statewide clients with national end-users.

Sterling joined Cadence McShane in 2019 to develop and acquire new business opportunities in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Sterling is an experienced business development professional who specializes in procuring construction projects in a variety of market sectors, including commercial, industrial, education, multifamily, and senior housing.
