Parc 59
Cadence McShane provided design-build construction services for Parc 59, a new speculative industrial development in Humble, Texas. The development consists of two single-story, tiltwall buildings totaling 279,632 square feet. Building 1 is an 83,436-square-foot, rear-load building with a 28′ clear height and two drive-in doors. Building 2 is a 196,196-square-foot, cross-dock building featuring a 32′ clear height with four drive-in doors. Combined, the buildings offer 65 external docks and 437 parking spaces.
As a design-build job, Cadence McShane was engaged by the client prior to finalizing the design. This allowed the team to provide cost estimating and value engineering services, thereby finding opportunities for cost savings and providing more flexibility for modifications to the project during construction.
