The Village at Fairview
Cadence McShane Construction Company completed the construction of The Village at Fairview, a 108,000-square-foot outdoor shopping area located on the northeast corner of Highway 75 and Stacy Road in Fairview, Texas. The Village at Fairview was constructed in multiple phases and includes a bookstore, a salon, an Old Navy, and exterior finishes to Whole Foods Market for the Fairview community to enjoy.
The bookstore, A Real Bookstore, is 20,000 square feet and includes specialty areas such as a kitchen and cooking demonstration area, children’s reading space and offices. Cadence McShane also constructed the café and outdoor seating areas for the bookstore. The salon featured in the complex, Daireds Salon, is 13,000 square feet with a guest lounge, reception areas and offices. The clients of Daireds can enjoy the 12 different themed spa rooms, manicure and pedicure stations as well as a hairstyling station.
The extensive construction at Whole Foods in The Village at Fairview included the demolition of the existing masonry facade and the subsequent installation of a new contemporary masonry exterior. Cadence McShane also completed the exterior painting and installation of new metal panels and canopy extensions to protect shoppers from inclement weather. The Old Navy located in The Village at Fairview is 13,000 square feet and was constructed utilizing metal studs and a contemporary masonry exterior.
Cadence McShane incorporated a parking deck for the shoppers of The Village at Fairview. The multi-story, 105,054-square-foot parking structure provides 219 parking spaces. The parking garage consists of painted cast-in-place concrete that features brick embedded panels and columns to unify the outdoor shopping mall.
