Lone Star College System
Cadence McShane Construction Company provided construction management services for Lone Star College System. Lone Star College System purchased a five-building office portfolio in Houston, Texas, including two parking garages, which required extensive renovations for use as a higher education facility.
The project included comprehensive renovations to the building envelopes, core and shell, parking decks and immediate grounds. Reconstruction of the current facility provided modern classrooms and administrative space, support areas, a visitor center and imperative life and safety updates. Cadence McShane also completed 66,500 square feet of tenant improvement assignments to accommodate the satellite campuses of four local universities that formed alliances with Lone Star College System.
