Cadence McShane Construction Company completed Coy Miller Elementary School and Jimmy and Sammy Lane Vaughn Elementary School, 83,332-square-foot educational facilities. Jimmy and Sammy Vaughn Elementary School is located in West Frisco, Texas on a 10-acre site. Coy Miller Elementary School is located in Little Elm, Texas, also on a 10-acre site. Jimmy and Sammy Lane Vaughn Elementary School and Coy Miller Elementary School were built concurrently as part of the 2014 bond program and were completed on schedule in time for the start of the school year.

The two elementary schools each have three wings of classroom space with 43 total classrooms that achieve the standard of Texas Education Agency sized classrooms. Each school also features a multi-purpose cafetorium, a gymnasium, a library, and administrative offices. Cadence McShane provided sitework for both elementary schools that included fire lanes, sidewalk replacement, landscaping and a retaining wall at Coy Miller Elementary School.
