Cadence McShane Breaks Ground on Houston Industrial Development

Cadence McShane Construction Company has broken ground at Oates 610, a Class A industrial facility. The firm was selected by Mohr Capital to build the 368,766-square-foot development in Houston, Texas.

“Oates 610 represents a unique opportunity to deliver modern warehouse space on one of the few remaining developable industrial sites within Houston’s 610 loop,” said Srinath Pai Kasturi, Executive Vice President at Cadence McShane. “We are proud to parter with Mohr Capital on a facility that combines a premier infill location with the features today’s logistics and distribution users want.”

Located on a 24-acre infill site at 117 Oates Road, the development will consist of a concrete tilt-wall building incorporating 365,166 square feet of warehouse space and a 3,600-square-foot office. Designed to support modern logistics and distribution operations, the warehouse will feature a 36-foot clear height, 80 dock doors, and four drive-in doors. There will also be 91 trailer storage stalls on site.

Strategically positioned near the convergence of I-610, I-10, and US 90, the development will provide convenient access to Port Houston and key regional transportation networks.

Completion of Oates 610 is expected for February 2027. Ware Malcomb is the architect and Kimley-Horn is the civil engineer.
