Plano Independent School District (Plano ISD) has selected Cadence McShane Construction Company for the renovations and additions to five campuses located in Plano, Texas. These projects are a part of the $481 Million bond package the voters approved in November of 2016, funding items such as district-wide renovations, fine arts, technology, and safety.
Cadence McShane will be renovating the existing fine arts center and adding 4,000 to 9,000 square feet in five different Plano ISD schools: Armstrong, Frankford, Rice, and Renner Middle Schools as well as Vines High School. With the additions being made to each of these campuses, the students will have three large and distinct practice halls for band, choir, and orchestra.
“Cadence McShane is pleased to have been awarded the expansion and renovation of five Plano ISD schools” stated Mike Geach, Vice President of Education for Cadence McShane Construction. “Our in depth track record with Plano ISD and education facility renovation and expansion projects will ensure the best quality project for these schools.”
Cadence McShane and project architects, PBK and Corgan, will work closely with Plano ISD throughout the project to ensure that the district’s vision becomes a reality. Armstrong Middle School and Vines High School additions will be open for the upcoming school year. Frankford, Rice, and Renner Middle School additions will be opened for the 2019-2020 school year.
