Addison Conference and Theatre Centre
Cadence McShane Construction Company served as the construction manager at risk for the one-story, 17,000-square-foot Conference Centre and attached three-story, 32,500-square-foot Theatre Centre for the Town of Addison, Texas.
The unique design of the facility incorporated masonry walls, suspended concrete slabs, engineered timber and structural steel framework. The structures were designed and constructed as a series of small buildings linked by courtyards and plazas. The Conference Centre’s series of components including offices, meeting rooms, a kitchen preparation area, a ticket booth and an information center. The Theatre Centre accommodates 200 guests and represents a Renaissance playhouse with classical proportions. The Conference and Theatre Centre is in the heart of Addison where there are over 180 restaurants and 24 hotels within 4.4 square miles of the centre.
