Allen ISD STEAM Center

Cadence McShane Construction Company completed the construction of the 110,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art STEAM Center featuring dedicated instruction in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics for Allen ISD located in Allen, Texas.

The two-story building includes a 250-seat Sci-Max theatre for large group educational programs, an Exploratorium that features an OmniGlobe Spherical Display system, a robotics center, an architectural interior design studio, a digital media lab, and science and physics laboratories, and a separate entrance to an area dedicated for K-8 students. The campus also includes a large open-air, outdoor learning pavilion that overlooks a small pond, surrounded by various pathways that wind through the wooded site behind the main building.
