Hedgcoxe Elementary School Additions and Renovations

Cadence McShane Construction Company served as construction manager at risk for the 78,762-square-foot additions and renovations on Hedgcoxe Elementary School, located in Plano, Texas.

Expansions to the school totaled 11,740 square feet and included updated classrooms that achieve Texas Education Agency facility standards, upgraded administrative offices and the main entrance. The renovation component to Hedgcoxe Elementary included 67,022 square feet of extensive interior reconstruction to the cafeteria, kitchen, existing library, gymnasium, auditorium, performance stage and 36 existing classrooms.

Cadence McShane modernized the facility with upgrades to wall and floor coverings, lighting, building and life safety systems as well as classroom equipment and technology.
