Cadence McShane Construction Company provided construction management services for the multi-phase construction assignment totaling over 1,200,000 square feet for Houston Polymers Terminal located in La Porte, Texas. The facility handles plastic resins and dry non-hazardous chemicals to serve the numerous petrochemical companies in the Houston area.
Cadence McShane constructed the 40-foot high facility of tiltwall panels with concrete paving and truck courts, storage silos and an operations compound that comprised the two phases of this project. The result of the multi-phase development is a rail car storage yard for more than 350 cars, rail car maintenance, sophisticated bagging equipment and compounding, blending, drying, sieving and container-handling equipment that encompasses over 1,200,000 square feet.
