J.M. Daffron Elementary School Additions & Renovations
Cadence McShane Construction Company provided construction management services for the additions and renovations of J.M. Daffron Elementary School located in Plano, Texas. The educational facility remained open throughout the construction process and safety procedures were facilitated by Cadence McShane professionals.
Within the facility, there was a 17,000-square-foot addition that would accommodate larger classrooms to achieve Texas Education Agency (TEA) facility standards for classrooms as well as a new administrative area. The educational facility included a renovation of 67,676 square feet that modernized the kitchen, cafeteria, library, and gymnasium for the students and staff of J.M. Daffron Elementary School.
Cadence McShane provided sitework for the elementary school that included a new main entry, landscaping, reconfigured entry drop-off paving and the revision of the existing concrete turnaround.
