Cadence McShane Construction Company was selected to construct the 452,000-square-foot facility for Quaker Oats Company located within the Stellar Way Business Park in Grand Prairie, Texas. Highly-specialized racking and product transportation equipment within the facility are used for the staging, loading and distribution of Quaker Oats’ extensive product line.
The 30′ clear height regional distribution facility features 60 external truck docks, cross-dock truck courts and trailer parking for 160 vehicles to facilitate the distribution of products to consumer outlets. Cadence McShane also constructed offices, vehicle maintenance and shipping areas within the facility.
