Red Oak High School
Cadence McShane Construction Company was selected as construction manager at risk for Red Oak High School, a 340,000-square-foot educational facility in Red Oak, Texas.
The three-story high school building includes 120 classrooms, a large performing arts center that seats 1,212 people, a full-service cafeteria, a library, art studios, dance and theatre areas and comprehensive science laboratories. The 25,000-square-foot field house on the school’s campus features a state-of-the-art weight room, concession stands and a ticket booth along with lockers rooms for boys and girls athletics.
Cadence McShane provided sitework, on-site utilities, landscaping and all campus roadways and created 820 vehicle parking spots and 29 parking spots for the school’s buses. Red Oak High School was completed in June of 2010, 89 days ahead of schedule and just in time for the 2010-2011 school year.
