Westgrove Wins Texas REDnews Multifamily Project of the Year Award

Cadence McShane Construction Company is pleased to announce that Westgrove won Multifamily Project of the Year at the 2026 Texas REDnews Real Estate Awards in Houston. Built for client McNair Interests, this mixed-use community offers over 300,000 square feet, including 371 apartment units, an extensive amenity package, and a 2,000-square-foot ground-level café.

“We are honored to accept this award on behalf of Westgrove,” said Srinath Pai Kasturi, Executive Vice President at Cadence McShane. “This recognition reflects the hard work of the entire project team and partners, and we are grateful to have played a role in bringing this outstanding community to life.”

Designed by The Preston Partnership, the property integrates five stories of wood-frame construction wrapped around a five-level concrete parking garage with 521 spaces.

Featuring a mix of studio to three-bedroom floorplans, units include walk-in closets, quartz countertops, stainless-steel appliances, and in-unit washers and dryers. Select units offer private balconies or patios with yards. Amenities include a rooftop sky deck, coworking pods, a lounge, a pet spa, and a two-story fitness center. Outdoors, there is a resort-style swimming pool, grill stations, hammocks, courtyards, and a dog park.

Westgrove offers a prime location, situated just steps away from the popular White Oak Bayou and Heights Hike and Bike Trails, with close proximity to Downtown Houston.
