The Cadence Group establishes an office in Austin, Texas and begins work on its first local project, Renaissance Assisted Living.

The Cadence Group builds Brinker Elementary School for Plano ISD, the company’s first ground-up K-12 project.

The Cadence Group establishes an office in Houston, Texas and is awarded Kleb Intermediate School for Klein ISD.

Jim McShane acquires the assets of The Cadence Group, establishing Cadence McShane Corporation.

Neal Harper is named President of Cadence McShane Corporation.
2012
Will Hodges is named President of Cadence McShane Construction Company.
2014
Cadence McShane relocates its headquarters to 5057 Keller Springs Road in Addison, Texas.
2015
Cadence McShane celebrates its 30th anniversary with 135 employees.
2015
Cadence McShane establishes an office in San Antonio, Texas, its fourth location in the state.
2020
Molly McShane is appointed Chief Executive Officer of The McShane Companies. Since joining the company in 2002, Molly has spearheaded major strategic initiatives across McShane’s portfolio of services, most notably its expansion into new geographic markets and a conscious effort to create a diverse workplace.
