Pickleball Challenge Format
KING OF THE COURT PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT RULES
Team Format
- Two-player teams
- Teams remain together for the duration of the tournament
- All players are guaranteed multiple games throughout the event
Court Setup
- One court will be designated as the King Court.
- Remaining courts will be designated as Challenger Courts.
How Play Works
- Teams will be assigned to a court for the first round.
- Games will be played to 11 points (win by 1) or within the designated time limit.
- At the conclusion of each round: Winning teams move up one court | Losing teams move down one court | Teams winning on the King Court remain on the King Court | Teams losing on the lowest court remain on the lowest court.
Scoring
- Rally scoring may be used to keep play moving efficiently.
- All games will be timed. When time expires, the current rally will be completed and scores recorded.
- The team leading at the end of the round will be declared the winner.
Rotation
- Following each round, teams will immediately move to their assigned court.
- Tournament staff will announce court assignments and the start of each new round.
Tournament Winners
At the conclusion of all scheduled rounds, final standings will be determined based on court placement and overall performance.
- 🏆 King of the Court Champion: The team finishing in first place on the King Court at the end of the final round will be crowned the King of the Court Champion.
- 🥈 Second Place: The team finishing as runner-up based on final court standings and tournament results.
- 🥉 Third Place: The team finishing third overall based on final court standings and tournament results.
